What happens when you combine Top 40 and a Christian Radio format? You get Lift FM! Lift FM is WZFI FM in Bridgeton, New Jersey. The station is a concoction of Contemporary Hit Radio and Christian Contemporary Music format. It’s almost like Hot AC with a Christian twist.
Lift FM’s core artists include Three Days, Krystal Meyers, Toby Mac, Switchfoot, Jesse McCartney, and Jonas Brothers.
The imaging is generic, basic, yet punchy enough to deliver its positive, uplifting stationality. The jingles at Lift FM are homegrown production exuding warmth and encouragement.
It’s been months since 96.3 WRock has re-branded to Easy Rock, but the buzz about its ReelWorld jingles is still as loud as it was. The new Easy Rock jingles, which were resings of the Delilah package, replaced the long running TM Century jingles of WRock, lifted from the original K-LIte packages.
Meanwhile, MBC continues to roar as the king of Philippine Radio. It’s flagship station for FM, Love Radio bagged home the no. 1 spot in the ratings game for a record-holding 6 years in a row. MBC Execs rewarded the station with a spanking new CHR jingle from ReelWorld (KIIS Suite).
From the Philippines to Thailand, Max 103 FM also got new jingles. Max 103 recently transferred to a new frequency and they went to ReelWorld for their jingles. Guess which package is this taken from.
First of all, my respect to both Music 4 and TM Studios, and to Steve and the rest of the Revolution staff.
Same jingle signature melody in one market is no a big deal for me, even if I was 96.2 The Revolution. I mean, if I am the first to use it on my market, my listeners would know that I first used that logo.
I tell you it’s a not strange thing in radio land that within a market, there are two stations that use the same 3 note KIIS FM logo, or Z100 logo. And it is no different in our market in the Philippines.
From a listeners’ perspective all jingles sound the same, whatever melody or logo. They’re jingles, that’s the bottom line. Yes, listeners may figure out but they don’t mind, as long as the jingles sing the right name. Read the rest of this entry »

The OBAMA Jingle package from M-Edge Productions (www.m-edgeproductions.com) is indeed as defining as the celebration of the Americans in the inauguration of President-elect Barrack Obama. The package is a monument that recorded the unity of Americans during this historically significant event.
In a conversation with Tony Valdez from M-Edge Productions, RadioJingles.co.nr is proud to present to you some insights on how the OBAMA Jingle package came to be.
Can you give us a little insight on how the jingle package came to be.
This was an internal project…no station was involved.
The La Kalle 2008 is a perfect choice for this package. But can stations use or order other existing packages to be resung as an Obama package, like if they want to choose the KDWB instead?
I thought of that and yes it can be done…but it would be more of a custom production. However, the current package “La Kalle 2008” can be purchased off-the-shelf and stations can use it as-is (of course a resing can be done as well for the La Kalle package)
The Obama package is CHR, but I believe with the kind of victorious spirit every American has right now, I think this package can fit any format, whether AC or Newstalk.
I AGREE. We felt the La Kalle PKG fit because of the styles of music incorporated in the pkg. Since the package is specific to an historic moment it seems to me that the style is important but secondary in priority to the lyrical content and overall message.
I am positive that this package will have a very long shelf-life. Matter of fact, stations can even have this package resung for the 4th of July.
YES…may God hear you my brother J A package with a long shelf life is a very good thing.

Cool 93 – Bangkok’s premiere AC station is up for the challenge. The Thai radio station was hunting for a jingle production company which can help them hammer their position in Thailand. Brandy, not only got the deal, they nailed it right on the head!
The Viva jingle package sound perfect for Cool 93. It enhances and magnifies the station’s strong radio brand. ‘Cool 93′ was perfectly fitted into select cuts from both Viva Volume 1 & 3 package. The overall sound is themed around modern sounds and strong vocals which is consistent to the sound of the station.

In Rome, a somewhat sleepy DJ says goodnight to all the night owls dedicating a special song just for them. At that very moment, in Sydney, Australia, another DJ on another radio starts his program with their morning jingles. Carlos in a radio station in Caracas, signs off with well wishes of goodnight to all his Latino listeners.
While the world’s radio stations are either signing off or just signing in, at that very instant Santa Claus is flying around the globe, giving out radio jingles to everyone. From the factory that makes great jingles, for the world’s best stations — Jingles Factory.
Santa dropped by Spain, Miami, San Francisco, Poland, Italy, Asia, England, and the Northpole.

The real industry secrets for session singers:
Training DVDs that offer industry secrets are fake
Great singers with worst attitude flunk
Never accept NO as a response
The world of jingles is full of transient session singers. There are many who mysteriously make it big in a snap and suddenly, they disappear. But there are those who, out of luck, in sheer determination, positive attitude, and smart strategies, earn thousands if not millions of dollars in singing commercial themes, radio and TV broadcast station IDs and corporate jingles.
So how do these fortunate session singers really do it?
Actually, you have read them already in the first paragraph. It does not include, however, purchasing a training resource – those CDs or DVD kits that promises to provide you some “industry secrets” in session singing. If you are budding session singer, or a sophomore commercial crooner who has not been in a studio for a while now since last project, here are some refreshers. Read the rest of this entry »
