Wise Buddah has been busy producing a new custom package for Poland’s national Soft AC, Radio Zlote Przeboje.

The package contains 22 custom themes as well as news, travel and weather elements.
For this package Wise Buddah arranged for the jingles to be sung in Warsaw by some of Poland’s top session singers and the team at Radio Zlote Prezeboje were delighted with the results…

The most exciting part about the new website is the Jingles page.

All packages are arranged carefully using list down menus for easy browsing and are categorized according to AC-MoR, Breakfast Show, Chillout-Lounge, Comedy, Hot AC, Re-Sings, Soft AC, Char Show, CHR, Custom Packages, News, Rock-Indie and Urban Rhythmic. Pirate Johnnie Walker is a new weekly show for BBC Radio 2.

The show is set on a fictitious pirate vessel named the Rock ‘N’ Roll, sailing somewhere in the North Sea (although Johnnie is actually sitting in a comfortable Radio 2 studio on dry land!).

Playing hits from 1955 to 1975 – much of it on the original vinyl – Pirate Johnnie Walker transports Radio 2 listeners back to the days of pirate radio in the ‘60s and ‘70s…

Wise Buddah Jingles & Music Imaging were commissioned to provide the jingles for the show in the style and the sound of the late 60’s. Producer/composer Jem Godfrey approached the challenge by initially studying the production components of that era.

Wise Buddah is delighted to add another leading German radio brand to its growing European roster, Kiss FM Berlin.

“KISS HITS” was commissioned by Kiss’s Programme Director Christian Schalt and was completed shortly before Christmas for launch in early January 2009.

The package comprises of eight main IDs, four Top of Hour jingles as well as news, travel and weather. A cappella vocals were also supplied chromatically across an octave to increase flexibility with segues and production inclusives.

Following the success of Wise Buddah’s recent Viking FM custom jingle package, the team at WB were invited to re-image the new look Breakfast Show.

The team at Viking wanted something bright, catchy and memorable and delivered as separate songs based around three distinct lyric ideas.

Programme Director Jono Symonds was delighted with the end result…

“We wanted a funky, contemporary take on what has become the standard breakfast show format, with high energy and a recognizable melody. Wise Buddah provides new jingles and sweepers for 3 of Astral Media’s recently re-launched stations. Following last year’s blast off of Virgin in Toronto, “The Bear 106.9″ flipped to Virgin Radio 1069, Montreal’s Mix 96 rebranded as Virgin Radio 96, and 95 Crave in Vancouver became Virgin Radio 953.

With 12 main themes, breakfast imaging, and news suites, Wise Buddah gave the 3 new Virgin stations a set of jingles and sweepers custom-produced for each unique market.

In Autumn 2008 Wise Buddah were commissioned to create a brand new ID package for Poland’s new chillout format station Chilli Zet.  And so Café Buddah was born…this breathtaking package comprises of 13 custom themes plus News and Weather beds as well as five full length production beds.

The team at Chilli Zet wanted a warm melodic package with an unforgettable sonic logo, whilst keeping a clear contemporary musical edge.

Drenched in sunlight and rich musical texture and drawing on influences from the Balearics to Buenos Aires, Cafe Buddah is available for immediate syndication.

Wise Buddah is proud to present the 2008 update of the BBC Radio Cymru news package. This time, the package included a variety of themes from Lite Rock, Easy Listening, Lounge, to News, Urban, Sports, and Weather, which totalled up to 300 cuts.

The Wise Buddah team are also currently working on new custom jingles for Radio Zet, Chilli Zet, Anty Radio and Radio Plus. Watch out also for the official launch of the packages for Kiss Berlin, RT1 Hot AC, NJR Group 2008 and Virgin Toronto Christmas Jingles. The team has also been busy producing music for National TV ads for the Challenj and Zavvi brands.
